What we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Last updated: October 27, 2026

This policy explains what information Jakai Consulting LLC ("Jakai," "we," "us") collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. It covers our website, our phone and text lines, and the work we do for clients. If you have a question about it, contact us using the details at the end.

Information we collect

Information you give us

  • Contact and booking details. Your name, business name, email, phone number and anything you write when you fill out a form, book a call or email us.
  • Calls. When you call our line, an AI assistant answers. We record and transcribe calls so our team can follow up, and we tell you that at the start of every call. If you'd rather not be recorded, say so and we'll have someone call you back instead.
  • Texts. The messages you send us and the messages we send you, along with your phone number.
  • Client information. If you hire us, the details we need to do the work, such as your business information, billing details and access to the accounts we set up or manage for you.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, ours may collect basic technical information when you visit, such as your browser type, device, the pages you view and general location based on your IP address. We may use cookies and similar tools to keep the site working and to understand how it's used. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site will still work.

How we use your information

  • To respond to your questions, book calls and follow up with you.
  • To provide, support and improve our services.
  • To send you texts and emails you've asked for or agreed to receive.
  • To send invoices, take payments and keep business records.
  • To keep our systems secure and to comply with the law.

We don't sell your personal information.

Text messages

If you give us your number and agree to receive texts, we may text you about your inquiry, appointments and our services. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to opt out, or HELP for help.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent are never shared with any third party.

How we share information

We share information only as needed to run our business, with:

  • Service providers that work on our behalf, such as our website, CRM and booking platform, phone and texting providers, AI providers that process call audio and transcripts, email, payment processing and accounting. They may use your information only to provide their services to us.
  • Professional advisors, such as our lawyers and accountants, when needed.
  • Authorities, when the law requires it or to protect our rights, our clients or others.
  • A buyer or successor, if our business is ever sold or reorganized, subject to this policy.

AI and automation

We use AI tools in our own business, including the assistant that answers our phone. These tools process the information you share with them, such as what you say on a call, to respond to you and create summaries for our team. We don't use your information to train AI models ourselves, and where our providers offer settings that keep data out of model training, we use them.

Information we handle for clients

When we set up or manage systems for a client, we may handle information about that client's own customers, such as names, phone numbers and messages. We handle it only to provide our services, under our agreement with the client. Our clients own their accounts and their customer data, and they are responsible for how they collect it and for getting any consent their customers need. If you're a customer of one of our clients, please contact that business directly with privacy questions.

How long we keep information

We keep information as long as we need it for the purposes above, including to meet legal, tax and accounting requirements. When we no longer need it, we delete it or make it anonymous.

How we protect information

We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect your information, including access controls and secure, reputable service providers. No system is perfectly secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.

Your choices and rights

  • Texts: reply STOP to opt out at any time.
  • Emails: use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email.
  • Calls: ask not to be recorded, or ask us not to call you again.
  • Access, correction and deletion: contact us to ask what information we have about you, or to correct or delete it. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state law. We'll respond as the law requires and won't treat you differently for asking.
